Newtown Marching Nighthawks
2024 Fall Program
- Immortal Shadows
Immortal Shadows follows the journey of a group of vampires who, seeking acceptance in a world that shuns them, initially hopes to find a place among humans. But when their attempts at connection are met with rejection, despair turns to anger, and they embrace their darker nature. In a final act of defiance, they form a vampire army, determined to spread shadows and fear across a world that cast them out. Music selections will include a dynamic arrangement of “What Could Have Been” by Sting, and the timeless classic "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by Bach, and "Night on Bald Mountain" by Mussorgsky.
