2024 Fall Program
- Jekyll and Hyde
The Souderton Big Red Marching Band's 2024 show, Jekyll and Hyde, delves into the theme of duality, inspired by the contrast between light and dark, good and evil. The performance is anchored by a dynamic musical selection that conveys this inner conflict. Starting with Verdi's powerful Requiem ("Dies Irae"), the show moves through tension and suspense with John Carpenter's Unkillable from Halloween Kills, and deepens with Howard Shore's haunting Hope Fails from Return of the King. The finale intensifies with the 5th movement of Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, as good and evil goes head to head in a dramatic finish.
