- A Tribute to Paul Alberta
In 1963, Paul M. Alberta came to Norwood as the Junior High School Band Director. He went on to become the high school director and the Director of Fine Arts through his retirement in 2002. Mr. Alberta held very high standards and the Norwood ensembles were among the highest achieving ensembles in the state in Concert, Marching and Jazz. This year, the Norwood Marching Band pays tribute to Mr. Alberta for his extraordinary efforts throughout his career and lifetime here in the town of Norwood and across the New England region.
