2024 Fall Program
- Echoes of the West
The production explores the power of passing stories on throughout generations, and the ideals that made the Western Frontier the legendary place it became. The first movement explores the West as we most commonly know it, as an energetic and wild place. The second movement is an arrangement of House of the Rising Sun, which explores the idea that when met with challenges of living on the frontier, some people had no choice but to become outlaws themselves. And the final movement of the show reminds us that in spite of the challenges and danger found in the west, the hope and promise of living is what drove so many to explore the Western unknowns.
